Eine stabile (und korrekte) Salinität ist eine wichtige Basis für erfolgreiche Riffaquaristik. Häufig beobachten wir jedoch bei unseren Laboranalysen, dass der Salinitätswert deutlich vom Optimalwert abweicht. Um eine richtige Salinität im Riffaquarium zu garantieren, sollten die Messmittel laufend kontrolliert und auch kalibriert werden.

Stable (and correct) salinity is an important basis for successful reefkeeping. Frequently, however, we observe in our laboratory analyzes that the salinity value deviates significantly from the optimal value. To ensure proper salinity in the reef aquarium, the measuring equipment should be constantly monitored and calibrated.
